College Zoom delivered two presentations for the University of Southern California’s summer program for high school students, Summer@USC. The first workshop was on college admissions applications. College Zoom founder David Reynaldo shared strategies and provided guidance about how students should present their best self in their college application portfolio.
The second workshop featured David and College Zoom’s college major coach, Ji Hae Byun. In an informative career workshop that helped lay out a foundation for future career success and happiness, facilitators David and Ji Hae helped students determine what college majors and future careers align with their passions and learn about ways to explore potential careers through a variety of experiences and opportunities available to them.

David Reynaldo represented College Zoom at Santa Monica High School’s Career Day in 2013 and 2014. In 2013, he spoke about entrepreneurship and college admissions alongside The Stylist LA’s Emily McDonald. In an email to David, the head of Santa Monica High School’s Career Day said: “Your co-presentation with Emily scored one of the highest in student evaluations! 4.8 average with 5 being the highest.” Here are some of the comments:

College Zoom co-instructed three “Navigating the Journey to College” workshops as part of Teach for America’s College Fair at the University of Southern California. Over 300 students participated. In questionnaires collected by Teach for America, 300+ students said that on a scale of 1 to 7, they rated knowing what they need to do differently in order to go to college as a 6.44 out of 7. They also rated being more excited about going to college as a 6.46 out of 7.

High school students from across the United States and around the world attended USC Summer Program’s Exploring Entrepreneurship summer seminar where College Zoom’s director, David Reynaldo, has been invited back by the faculty to present every year since 2010.

College Zoom’s director, David Reynaldo, delivered one of two keynote presentations at the Monte Jade Science & Technology Association’s Dr. Denny Ko Future Entrepreneurs Scholarship Luncheon in Alhambra, CA. Dr. Ko scholarships are awarded to full-time undergraduates and college-bound high school seniors to foster leadership and entrepreneurship in young minds. David spoke alongside Jimmy Lin, President of KOA Corporation (one of the world’s largest manufacturers of electronic device components with over 3,600 employees in seven countries). David spoke about his experience growing College Zoom to serve international clientele and students throughout the United States.

David Reynaldo represented College Zoom at Beverly Hills High School’s Junior Night and spoke on the college admissions panel alongside admissions office representatives from various colleges and universities. The panelists shared advice, insights & best practices for the admissions process. David snapped this photo as guests filed into the auditorium. The entire middle row and both side rows filled in prior to the event starting. 150+ parents and students attended.
